Your opportunity

**As the Indigenous Pathways Coordinator you will**:
Ensure that all Year 12 Indigenous students have access to case management support to successfully transition from schooling to either further education, training, or sustainable employment.
The Indigenous Pathways Coordinator reports to the officer who has been designated as the Project Manager.
Your role

**Responsibilities include**:

- Utilise the services of other agencies to package case management support for individual students.
- Monitor the Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan for each year 12 Indigenous student and ensure each has an Individual Pathway Plan.
- Plan and initiate activities in line with Individual Pathway Plans and the aspirations of students to ensure they have every opportunity to articulate from schooling to a post-secondary pathway.
- Establish formal and informal partnerships with business, industry, education and training providers, Centrelink, Job Services Australia, Indigenous communities, Indigenous groups and other key stakeholders to support achievement of student outcomes.
- Work with the Queensland Indigenous Education Consultative Committee (QIECC) to effectively engage parents and the Indigenous community.
- Coordinate post-secondary education and training opportunities that are nationally accredited and include pre vocational training, Australian Apprenticeships, Vocational Education and Training and university courses.
- Oversee the linking of young people to employment or employment services, especially those students that have completed qualifications.
- Develop and monitor arrangements aimed at supporting students in further education, training and/or sustainable employment for a period of at least 26 weeks beyond year 12 completion.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
