About the Position:
This Site Supervisor role is based on a gold plant project in Central Queensland, overseeing concrete works within the grinding and wet circuit areas. You will lead a site crew of approximately 30 personnel, working closely with a Project Manager to drive productivity, safety, and quality outcomes. FIFO or DIDO arrangements are available depending on location.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Supervising daily site activities to ensure works align with scope, drawings, and methodology
• Leading and motivating crews to maintain productivity and programme targets
• Managing concrete pours, formwork, and associated civil works
• Conducting daily pre-start meetings and coordinating daily work plans
• Ensuring all works meet quality, safety, and client standards
• Monitoring progress against schedule and reporting any risks or variations
• Managing labour, equipment, and PPE availability on site
• Overseeing subcontractors and coordinating with site departments
• Completing required site documentation, timesheets, diaries, and pour records
• Acting as the key on-site point of contact for project delivery
Skills & Experience Required:
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on civil or concrete projects
• Strong background in concrete pours (essential)
• Carpentry or formwork experience (highly regarded)
• Mining or heavy industrial project experience (preferred)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive crews and outcomes
• Excellent communication and decision-making capability
• Valid manual driver's licence
• Ability to work autonomously and manage site priorities
• Commitment to safety, quality, and company standards
• Valid police check or ability to obtain
