As a Parts Interpreter, you'll play a key role in helping customers and technicians identify and source the right parts for a range of light, medium and heavy-duty trucks, heavy plant, equipment and machinery. This position has the option for workshop only and we are also open to training the right candidate who's motivated and eager to learn, so if you have a passion for customer service, a good understanding of parts and components, and strong communication skills, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in identifying and sourcing the right parts, answering inquiries, and offering technical advice when needed.
* Use your expertise to accurately identify parts, components, and specifications based on customer descriptions, part numbers, and reference materials.
* Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring that the correct parts are selected and ordered.
* Monitor and manage parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet customer demand.
* Stay updated on the latest industry trends, product developments, and technical information related to the parts you deal with.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and inventory management.
* Work closely with other team members, including sales, technicians, and suppliers, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
About You
* Knowledge or a passion for automotive, industrial, or machinery parts and components.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in using computer software and inventory management systems.
* Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not essential
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Valid working rights in Australia
