Roving maintenance officer - aged care experience must (sydney)

We are seeking a qualified (desirable) trade person to join our Maintenance Team to provide general handyperson services to residential care service.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will work autonomously and as a team, to provide routine, planned, ad‐hoc and urgent maintenance services and general garden maintenance. Requests are varied – from painting, patching and flooring repairs, to pruning, mowing and assisting residents with sensors, water pressure, TV remotes or bathroom and handrail installations – no day is the same in aged care.

This is a full‐time permanent opportunity.

• Provide routine, planned, ad‐hoc and urgent maintenance services.
• Carry out painting, patching, flooring repairs, pruning, mowing and garden maintenance.
• Assist residents with sensors, water pressure, TV remotes, bathroom and handrail installations.

• Relevant trade qualifications (desirable) in carpentry, painting, electrician or plumbing.
• Experience (essential) in aged care, health or community (highly desirable).
• Ability to perform maintenance works.
• Valid driver's licence (essential).
• Experience working in a wide‐ranging work environment.

• Planning and time‐management skills.
• Participation in an on‐call roster.
• Nationally coordinated criminal history check within last 6 months.
• NDIS worker screening check may be a requirement.

• Pay: $49,900.00 – $92,546.85 per year.
• Work location: In person.
