About the team


Our manufacturing team are an essential part of turning raw materials into products ready for customers. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met. You'll work alongside a diverse group of individuals with different backgrounds, cultures, personalities, and beliefs, much like the communities we serve.

About the Role

We're looking for Engineering Shift Supervisors to lead our maintenance teams across both our weekday afternoon shift and weekend shift at the Retail Ready Operations (RROA) site.

The weekend shift runs Friday - Sunday: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm and 4 hours on a Monday, supporting daily operations in a fast‑paced production environment. In this hands‑on leadership role, you'll coach and guide trades and contractors, ensuring the site operates safely, reliably, and in line with Coles CFMSR standards. You'll help establish consistent maintenance practices, improve equipment reliability, and foster a strong, engaged team culture on shift.

* Lead, coach and support trades and contractors to deliver safe, high‑quality maintenance outcomes
* Drive preventative maintenance, reliability improvements, and adherence to engineering standards
* Partner closely with operations, quality, EHS and planning teams to support production and site strategy

About You and Your Skills

You're an experienced engineering or maintenance leader who thrives in a dynamic operational environment. You bring strong people leadership capability, with the ability to build team engagement, lift performance and provide clear direction. You're confident managing competing priorities, applying sound technical judgment, and driving safe, reliable operations through your team.

* Demonstrated leadership and people management experience within engineering or maintenance
* Strong technical capability across maintenance, reliability, CI/Lean practices, planning and contractor management
* Excellent communication, coaching and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on safety, quality and team performance
