We are seeking an experienced and technically minded Customer Support Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity as the first point of contact for our customers.

This role is critical in ensuring all inbound customer enquiries — via phone and email — are handled promptly, accurately, and directed to the appropriate team member. You'll play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience while supporting our technical and operational teams.

The ideal candidate is mechanically minded, enjoys hands-on problem solving, and has a genuine interest in cars, caravanning, or the 4WD industry. Experience as a caravanner, 4WD enthusiast, or someone who enjoys tinkering with vehicles is highly regarded, along with a strong willingness to learn and support our product range.


Key Responsibilities

* Acting as the first point of contact for all inbound calls and customer enquiries.
* Triaging enquiries and directing them to the appropriate internal team or specialist.
* Providing first-level troubleshooting support for general technical enquiries.
* Scheduling technical appointments and coordinating follow-ups.
* Monitoring shared inboxes and ensuring timely responses and follow-up.
* Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintaining customer records and support notes.
* Providing general administrative and office support across customer service, technical, and administrative teams.

Full training on the technical aspects of our products will be provided and is easily picked up by someone with genuine interest and curiosity.


About You


To be successful in this role, you will have:

* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a first-point-of-contact role, preferably supporting a technical, mechanical, electrical, or robotic product.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* A professional and pleasant phone manner, with the ability to confidently manage customer calls.
* Experience in a retail or customer support environment for mechanical, camping, boating, automotive, or electrical products (highly regarded).


Role Details

* Full-time position.
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm onsite at Lisarow.
