Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality psychiatric care under Consultant Psychiatrist supervision.
* Participating in multidisciplinary team activities, such as handovers and case reviews.
* Conducting bio-psycho-social and risk assessments, contributing to treatment and discharge plans.
* Supervising and supporting junior medical staff, interns, and medical students.
* Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in line with the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act and relevant policies.
* Contributing to after-hours on-call duties and medical emergencies.
About the Ideal Candidate:
* Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHRPA.
* Enrolment in or progression towards fellowship of the RANZCP.
* Strong clinical skills and understanding of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
* A professional approach demonstrating integrity, adaptability, empathy, and respect.
