Morgan Consulting Engineers are looking for a civil draftsperson for their Brisbane based office. The role offers a motivated person the opportunity to join their civil department and assist in delivering quality design and drafting for new residential, commercial and industrial developments.

The Role
* Assist with the design and drafting of all aspects of civil works including earthworks, roadworks, services coordination and stormwater design.
* Preparation of civil concept design, detailed design and construction documentation.
* Checking the design and documentation of self and others to ensure that it adheres to current local authority standards.
* Managing own workload to satisfy civil department deliverables.
* Following quality control procedures.
* Maintain a healthy and happy work environment.
What you need
* 0-3 years+ experience as a civil design drafter in Australia.
* Interest in civil infrastructure (road, stormwater, sewer and water) design.
* Exposure to Computer-aided design (AutoCAD) is advantageous.
* Exposure to Civil 3D/12D, PCdrain and PCsewer software is advantageous.
* Enthusiasm to learn.
* The ability to follow quality procedures.
* Recent completion of an Advanced Diploma of Civil Engineering and/or CAD Engineering would be an advantage.
* Australian Permanent Residency/Citizenship is essential.
