Health and Safety Manager Position
The company is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to play a critical role in upholding the commitment to safety across civil construction projects. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in safety roles within the civil construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentoring and supporting site personnel in workplace health and safety practices
* Conducting site inspections and audits, with feedback and recommendations
* Identifying and mitigating safety risks and enhancing systems
* Assisting Project Managers with WHS compliance and implementation
* Supporting the preparation and maintenance of safety plans and documentation
* Ensuring compliance with all legislation, standards, and specifications
* Managing return-to-work and injury rehabilitation processes
* Accurately reporting and contributing to safety solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)
* At least 10 years' experience in safety roles within the civil construction sector
* Proven leadership and communication skills
* Previous team management experience
* Valid C-Class Driver's Licence
