Job Description
The Senior Land Surveyor will undertake civil surveys, including construction, set-out and audits, as constructed and feature surveys.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports where necessary, using appropriate software to facilitate.
* Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities and project guidelines.
* Oversee and assist with the management of third-party surveying contractors.
* Develop the business surveying capability to meet requirements.
* Train personnel in basic survey tasks and equipment.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong focus on problem-solving and organisational skills. Proficiency in Topcon, Carlson, Pocket 3D or similar is highly desirable, along with experience in surveying equipment and software.
Requirements include a minimum Certificate IV in Surveying and 3+ years' experience. The role requires flexibility to work on a Fly-in/Fly-out (FIFO) basis as required.
