Position Overview:
In this role, your primary focus will be on enhancing revenue growth through both the acquisition of current business and the retention of existing clients within our IT reselling business. This position demands an individual adept in initiating new business engagements, managing leads effectively, reactivating dormant accounts, and maximizing conversion opportunities within our existing client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in IT solution-based products, outstanding communication skills, and a strategic approach to business development.
MUST HAVE:
- Natural Sales Ability: Talent for connecting with people and driving sales.
- Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in outside or B2B sales, focusing on IT-related goods.
- Track Record: Proven success in developing sales pipelines and achieving sales targets.
- Industry Experience: Preferred experience in the eCommerce industry.
- Sales Environment: Background in multi-disciplinary sales environments.
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly and efficiently adapt and change strategies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to evaluate and optimize sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- New Business Sales
- Proactive Engagement: Conduct outbound calls and direct prospecting to cultivate new business opportunities.
- Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify leads, utilizing excellent communication skills to understand and meet client needs.
- Product Articulation: Clearly articulate the benefits of our IT products/services and customize offers to meet potential clients' specific requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to capitalize on marketing campaigns and generate new business leads.
- Account Management
- Relationship Building: Foster and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and client retention.
- Reactivation: Strategically reactivate dormant accounts through focused outreach and relationship-building efforts.
- Client Support: Work closely with internal teams to guarantee smooth onboarding and continuous support for clients.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products/services to meet the evolving needs of existing clients.
- Lead Conversion
- Prompt Response: Respond promptly to inbound leads, assess their requirements, and offer suitable IT solutions.
- Lead Management: Employ a systematic approach to lead management, ensuring consistent follow-ups and accurate documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Team up with the sales department to develop and execute effective lead conversion strategies.
- Reporting and Analysis
- CRM Maintenance: Keep precise and current records of all client interactions within the CRM system.
- Progress Reporting: Regularly report on progress in new business acquisition, lead conversion, and account retention.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to spot trends, opportunities, and areas requiring improvement.
Education and Experience:
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales and account management, with a preference for candidates with experience in IT or telecommunications sales.
- Sales Targets: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM systems and sales software.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivation: High motivation and a results-driven approach.
- Team Collaboration: Effective collaboration with diverse teams.
Technical Skills:
- IT Hardware Knowledge: Understanding of commercial PCs, notebooks, servers, storage solutions, and related peripherals.
- Software Solutions Expertise: Familiarity with enterprise software solutions, SaaS, PaaS, and cloud computing.
- Networking and AI: Knowledge of AI technologies, networking solutions, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Cybersecurity: Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
- Technical Training: Experience in delivering or organizing technical training and workshops for clients.
Sales and Business Development Skills:
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record in sales, particularly in the tech industry, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Market Understanding: In-depth knowledge of the tech market, especially in IT hardware, AI, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Client Relationship Management: Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and managing key accounts.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute business development strategies, including market and competitive analysis.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex technical solutions clearly and compellingly.
