As a Live Easy Buddy, you won’t just deliver care you’ll become a familiar and trusted presence in someone’s life. This role is about supporting older people to continue living independently at home while bringing companionship, consistency, and genuine connection into their everyday lives. We are currently seeking Casual Live Easy Buddies to join our growing team. What does a Buddy do? As a Live Easy Buddy, you’ll support older people to continue living safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes and community. This is a community-based role where you will be delivering services in older people’s own homes across the community, so travel between clients throughout the day will be required. This is a hands-on support role where you’ll provide a mix of personal care, domestic assistance, companionship, and community support. Depending on the client’s needs, your day may include: Assisting with personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Helping with household tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping Providing transport and accompaniment to appointments, social outings, or community activities Offering companionship through conversation, shared activities, or simply spending meaningful time together Supporting clients to stay connected, active, and confident in their daily routines Observing changes in wellbeing and communicating any concerns to the wider team At its heart, this role is about building genuine relationships and making everyday life easier, safer, and more enjoyable for older people living at their own homes. What we’re looking for: Experience in aged care, disability, or community support A kind and reliable person who genuinely enjoys supporting others Someone who’s confident providing personal care (or open to learning) A great communicator who can build trust and meaningful relationships A current driver’s licence and reliable car Most of all: the right attitude – we hire for heart, not just qualifications
