An chance has become available for an Assistant Director of Nursing (Emergency Care Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and the northern New South Wales region of Australia. 
Responsibilities 
- Foster a culture that strives for excellence in patient care 
- Identify opportunities to maximise performance and retention 
- Demonstrate advanced management skills and decision-making processes 
- Work with the Nursing Director to provide effective strategic and operational nursing leadership 
Qualifications 
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent 
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia 
- Evidence of vaccination, or ability to be vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B 
- Tuberculosis screening to identify if vaccination may be required 
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed 
- Criminal History Screening required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) 
Employment Details 
- Permanent full time 
- Base salary ranging from $155,831 - $163,382 per annum 
- 12.75% super 
- 17.5% leave loading
