LEADING CRANE SERVICES (LCS) is a locally owned business specialising in servicing and repairs of overhead cranes.
Our strong customer base throughout South Australia includes metro, rural and outback mining clients, giving our staff a broad range of sites and equipment to keep work interesting.
We are seeking ahands-on, reliable General Labourer/Workshop Hand to assist our crane technicians and help keep our workshop running smoothly. This role will suit someone who's organised, enjoys practical work, and is keen to be part of a small, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist crane technicians with tasks on and of site
* Assist crane boilermakers with fabrication tasks
* Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
* Have awareness and knowledge of the OHS requirements
* Deliver and collect parts, tools and materials
* Support with basic mechanical or assembly tasks under supervision
* Follow all WHS and company safety procedures
About You
* Physically fit and capable of manual work
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
* Current driver's license
* Forklift license (Desirable)
* Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Skills Required:
* Mechanical Aptitude and interests
* Capable of interpreting policies, procedures and safety management procedures
* Have an outstanding safety record and ongoing commitment to providing a safe working environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Work Overtime, when necessary
* Ability to follow instructions and technical directions accurately
* Good communication skills – reporting issues, asking for guidance, and coordinating tasks
