What You'll Be Doing
Using innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions, you will professionally support individuals seeking assistance with alcohol and drug use. You will take a trauma-informed approach and provide respectful, person-centred care, tailored to each individual's needs. Central to your role will be employing an individualised, holistic approach to care, incorporating comprehensive care planning to address the diverse physical, emotional, and social aspects of each person's journey.
To provide expert clinical consultancy and services within the AOD Specialty whilst working in the domains and the functions of the CNC 1 role. The aim of this role is to improve access to treatment and outcomes for people with stimulant and other substance related disorders.
This exciting position will provide a mix of Hospital Consultation Liaison (HCL), ambulatory withdrawal management and outpatient clinics within the scope of a CNC1 across the Hastings Macleay region as part of a senior clinical nursing team.
