Job Description
DFP Recruitment is a preferred supplier to the Local Government Association.
* Manage leases, licenses and tenancy agreements for Council buildings and land.
* Coordinate property maintenance contracts (e.g., cleaning, HVAC, pest control).
* Ensure compliance with WHS and legislative requirements for tenanted buildings.
* Maintain lease registers and support strategic property decisions (e.g., acquisitions, disposals).
* Assist with road closures, encroachments, and community/commercial leases and licenses.
* Contribute to asset management planning and capital works programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience in Council or State Government is preferable. Strong knowledge of property legislation and asset management practices is required. Skilled in negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement. Proficient in maintaining property databases and documentation.
