Your ImpactThe Key Account Manager (KAM) is a dedicated role within our beer and RCS portfolio, responsible for delivering profit and revenue targets from retail channel customers by understanding their value chain and creating mutual value.
Key Accountabilities
Develop account plans incorporating range (portfolio and innovation), pricing, positioning, merchandising, and promotions in consultation with the NAM and aligned with the business unit strategy.
Customize range plans, space allocation, and merchandising for the category within each customer, possibly clustered by outlets.
Define clear success metrics for execution and outcomes.
Engage field sales teams to establish execution standards and metrics aligned with the key account strategy.
Negotiate performance-based terms within the overarching Key Account framework.
Ensure implementation of activities within accounts, including promotions, activations, and price changes.
Build long-term relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers and requirements.
Manage the customer contact matrix from board to store levels.
Understand the customer value chain and identify opportunities for joint value creation.
Collaborate with customers to develop new standards of execution.
About You
Experience in account management roles such as KAM/KAE/NAE within FMCG.
Proven ability to exceed sales targets through a structured, data-driven approach; strong numeric, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze customer segment profitability in collaboration with finance and commercial teams.
Capability to translate segmentation strategies into venue plans with clear goals and targets.
Experience in revenue planning, including building business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
Resilience and ability to succeed in competitive and high-pressure environments.
