Job Overview
This role involves supporting the upkeep of parks, reserves and community spaces as a horticulturist/arborist.
The successful candidate will work in a close-knit team to maintain green spaces, understand plant health and perform horticultural maintenance including planting, pruning, mulching, weeding and fertilising.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose plant health issues and implement solutions.
* Operate and maintain horticultural tools and machinery when needed safely.
* Undertake tree maintenance such as trimming.
The ideal candidate should have a qualification in horticulture or arboriculture or related experience, as well as strong landscaping experience. A white card and valid police clearance are also required. A Mr Licence is preferred but not necessary.
