* Respond quickly to urgent roster changes to ensure minimal disruption to service delivery.
* Communication & Collaboration
* Provide timely roster updates to staff and address any scheduling conflicts.
* Liaise with management to ensure workforce planning meets service growth and compliance requirements.
* Work closely with HR and recruitment to fill roster gaps and onboard new staff.
* Compliance & Record Keeping
* Ensure all rostering practices comply with NDIS guidelines, Fair Work legislation, and workplace awards.
* Maintain accurate records of shifts, attendance, leave, and changes.
* Prepare reports on rostering efficiency, shift coverage, and workforce utilisation.
* Workforce Support
* Assist in onboarding new staff by explaining roster systems, processes, and expectations.
* Contribute to workforce planning strategies and operational meetings.
* Participate in a rotating on-call roster to manage urgent changes outside regular hours.

Skills, Experience & Attributes

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
* Proficiency in rostering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills—clear, confident, and solutions-focused.
* Problem-solving mindset—able to adapt to last-minute changes calmly and effectively.
* High attention to detail with strong record-keeping and data management skills.
* Understanding of NDIS guidelines, Fair Work legislation, and workplace awards.
* Cultural awareness and the ability to work with a diverse workforce.
