The Opportunity
We're always on the lookout for talented Medical Writers to join our Creative team and deliver outstanding results for our healthcare clients. You'll be part of a well-sized, supportive group with a mix of mid and senior writers, where our medical writers have the opportunity to do both medical and creative writing. We offer a collaborative environment with structured training, mentorship, and all the support you need to grow your digital career.
* Translate complex medical/scientific concepts into clear, concise copy
* Create branded HCP campaign materials including websites, detail aids, leave behinds, emails
* Create HCP medical education campaign materials including slide decks, invites, workbooks, and other collateral
* Lead brands from both strategy and copy perspectives with minimal oversight
* Drive the editorial process from first draft to final proof; ensure accuracy and quality
* Partner with design, strategy, account, and project management teams
* Ensure all content is on-brand and Code-compliant
* Drive copy and strategic perspectives in client meetings
* Manage competing priorities
* Provide oversight, guidance and support to junior writers
* Play a key role in researching and developing content for proposals and pitch presentations
* Stay up to date on current trends in medical education and pharma industry developments
What you can bring
* Graduate degree or PhD in sciences discipline
* 5 years + medical writing experience
* HCP pharmaceutical advertising agency experience
* Expertise in claim development and substantiation
* Comfort working across multiple therapeutic areas and lifecycle stages (pre‑launch to brand maintenance)
* Have strong presentation and pitching experience
* Clear understanding of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
* Highly proficient with Veeva/PromoMats
* Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and version control
* Strong time management in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
* Applicants MUST have the right to work within Australia
