**Reporting to the Director of Communications and Media, the Communications and Media Advisor will develop and implement the taskforce content strategy including website, social media, digital campaigns, and strategies to showcase the benefits being delivered to support and enable strategic outcomes.**
Initial labour hire contract through to the end of the year, with genuine potential for extension. Canberra central location with the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week. Attractive EL1 rate negotiable commensurate with experience.

**Key Duties**:
- Lead the development and implementation of the Taskforce content strategy, including managing all aspects of a website redesign.
- Monitor analytics to identify trends and opportunities to inform communications and media directorates activities and support continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the Taskforce's brand.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Taskforce's communications strategy.
- Serve as the primary editor for all digital channels including website and social media.
- Develop, edit, and publish compelling digital content in line with best practice, across a range of platforms including website, social media and print including: reports, infographics, web and social media content.
- Identify and record stories and anecdotes as well as data to support strong thought leadership and media engagement to promote the benefits of the reform agenda.
- Manage day to day operations and serve as the point of contact for all content related enquiries.
- Other ad hoc requests such as input into speeches, presentations and annual reports for our agency trade partners.
**Key Requirements**:
- Excellent written communication skills and demonstrated experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a coordinated, integrated and aligned approach to deliver the reform agenda and ensure effective and consistent Taskforce communications and ministerial support.
- Ability to establish and promote guidelines and standard operating procedures in line with best practise to enhance digital content.
- Demonstrated experience managing a website and working with content management systems (CMS), SEO and social media platforms.
- Experience developing engaging visual content that translates complex information into simple and easy to understand products.
- Ability to establish clear plans and timeframes for project implementation and outlines specific activities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a small team.
