About the position The Labourer position performs abroad range of tasks in a construction and/or maintenance teamwithin the Toowoomba Region.
The position works as part of a multi skilled team to complete program objectives for the maintenance and construction of Council's infrastructure networks.
This position will work under general supervision.
The base wage rate for this position is $1,****** gross per 38 hour week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to *****% superannuation.
This is a Permanent Full time position based at our Crows Nest depot.
Work a 9 day fortnight with a rostered day off.

About the team The Construction & Maintenance North (CMN) Branch plays a crucial role in driving capital and operational works projects and across a predominantly rural road and stormwater infrastructure network.

How to be successful in this position Hold the mandatory qualifications, training and/or experience specific to this position: Year10 education and a combination of substantial experience, qualification and competence, or a combination of substantial experience, qualification and competence which enables the incumbent to perform all duties of the position.
WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS**** Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
Working in Proximity to Traffic Awareness Part 1 and 2, or a willingness to obtain within 3 months of commencement.
