Support Worker - Male Required
We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker, providing person-centered disability support services to NDIS participants.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting individuals with personal care and day-to-day activities in their homes and within the community. This includes:
* Providing positive behavior support to clients
* Completing necessary documentation through shift notes, incident reporting, and data collection
* Contributing to the overall objective of delivering exceptional outcomes for clients
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or be willing to acquire this qualification) and possess strong problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, and relationship building skills. Experience in mental health, stoma care, and challenging behavior is highly desirable.
About the Role
This is a male-only position, exempt under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991. The successful applicant will work closely with the team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provision and maintain professional relationships with clients while adhering to the NDIS code of conduct.
