The Tasmanian Walking Company are proudly based in Tasmania and have been delivering unique experiences for over 30 years, connecting guests with remote, wild, and special places.
We are currently seeking a part-time Operations Coordinator to join our team, operating out of our Southern Office in Hobart. The Operations Coordinator will support the Regional Experience Manager (REM) in coordinating the roster for our Wineglass Sail Walk and Three Capes Lodge Walk, working closely with fellow Operations Coordinators to resource and create memorable experiences for guests.
This role involves moving between operations and administrative functions, requiring strong communication and organizational skills, as well as being highly motivated and having attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be a problem-solving whiz, able to adapt to changing demands and requirements, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the walks.
- Previous experience in tourism/hospitality is essential, preferably as a guide
- Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities are required
- Logistics or rostering experience is advantageous
- Flexibility with working arrangements is necessary, including after-hours and weekend work
- Ability to operate effectively within a close team environment
- Handyperson skills are desirable
