Opportunity Overview
The Risk function drives consistency across our business by providing advice, support, and tools to maintain effective risk management practices and culture.
The Senior Risk Lead works within the Group Risk function to provide administration and project coordination for continuous improvement of risk processes, initiatives & transformation programs, to enhance our risk management framework and culture.
You'll Make an Impact By
* Leading risk projects & transformation initiatives to mature risk management capability, compliance and culture, and deliver strategic objectives.
* Managing change and communications programs to support embedment of new frameworks and ways of working, including tracking of continuous improvement, culture and change progress over time.
* Leading maintenance & administration of the risk management framework, policies & processes, in alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and business-fit practice.
* Developing and managing tools, guides, and processes, and work with various teams and departments to integrate risk management into business processes.
* Developing and conducting training & education programs to enhance overall risk posture and cultivate a culture of risk awareness.
* Coordinating updates and risk reviews, and prepare Management, Executive and Board reporting.
* Providing administration and coordination support to the Group Risk team including scheduling and facilitation of workshops, meetings, and risk reviews.
* Developing and maintaining an annual schedule of all risk reporting requirements and activities, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timelines are met.
Requirements
* 5+ years experience in risk and compliance, within medium-large corporates or consulting firm.
* Strong understanding of risk & compliance frameworks and governance programs.
* Demonstrated experience with task/project planning and coordination, including excellent prioritisation skills and confidence managing multiple priorities within fast-paced environments.
* Critical thinking capability to consider business needs to prioritise tasks, focus efforts, deliver real value and drive positive engagement.
* Strong influencing, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Clear, impactful and influential communication skills in both verbal and written mediums.
* Motivated and enthusiastic contributor, driven to promote and support a highly productive team to maximise individual and team performance.
* Demonstrated experience in business processes, standards, systems and roles, or proven administration experience in complex corporate environment.
