THE POSITION
o Developing and maintaining effective business relationships with clients and customers
o The contract consists of 23 main sites and over 1000 small properties requiring planned and unplanned maintenance services both self-delivered and sub-contracted
o managing the day-to-day operational delivery of FM Services, ensuring high presentation standards, regulatory compliance, Asset maintenance and sustainable performance meet Delta’s high standards
o Providing leadership to your team to achieve business objectives including fostering a culture where safety is a core value
o Managing the delivery of the Emergency, Environmental and Work Health and Safety requirements of the Accommodation facility and its licensed area.
o Managing and implementing Asset Management Strategies to ensure long term performance of key assets
o Managing staff and sub-contractors to ensure the operational delivery requirements of services
o Reviewing Policy and Procedures as they pertain to the management of the site
o Providing weekly and monthly reports on a strict timeline
o Oversee Planned maintenance of around 2500 Deliverables per month
o Effective management of Unplanned Services within Respond and restore timeframes
o Manage and continuously improve our CMMS system
o Provide Monthly Reporting including financial, Operational and KPI reports
o Oversee a regular program of Minor Project works
THE PERSON
o Proven operational experience in Site Management (including soft and/or hard Facilities Management and/or Accommodation Management)
o A hands-on and proactive approach to the management of the facility and its licensed area.
o Proven leadership and people management experience.
o Demonstrated ability to follow processes and procedures to achieve contract compliance
o Strong and decisive leadership skills with ability to build effective and engaged teams
o Strong financial and analytical skills in developing budgets and allocating appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable and profitable business
o Proven experience in Asset Life cycle management.
o Trade or tertiary education in a technical field (such as electrical, mechanical, or engineering) preferred.
o Ability & confidence to professionally liaise with senior management including clients/customers.
o Well-developed interpersonal skills including report writing competencies, computer literacy and the ability to maintain high customer service standards and foster a positive team environment.
