About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Support Worker to join our team in Moree. As a key member of our Youth Care Team, you will provide short-term support to young people aged 0-18 years and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access essential services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide practical and emotional support to young people and families in need.
* Work collaboratively with children, parents, and caregivers to promote well-being.
* Connect families with appropriate services and community resources.
* Develop and implement tailored support plans.
* Maintain accurate records and report on client progress.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields and/or demonstrated extensive experience working with families with complex needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields.
* Demonstrated experience working with families with complex needs.
* Experience in Case Management education program delivery, development, implementation, coordination, review, and evaluation.
* Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and CALD communities.
* Demonstrated experience in developing working relationships with multi-faceted services.
* Current driver's license and ability to travel regularly.
