About this role:
We are seeking a suitably experienced and highly motivated person to coordinate, promote, implement and evaluate Pilbara Nursing & Midwifery recruitment programs, including the WACHS Nursing and Midwifery workforce initiatives. This position will also provide a Pilbara consultancy service, monitor and report on Pilbara nursing and midwifery workload indicators, as well as undertake strategic Nursing and Midwifery Projects.
This is a regional position with an expectation of travel to all sites across WACHS Pilbara. The role works alongside all nursing and midwifery specialists/managers/coordinators/directors to achieve the shared vision for our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate, promote, implement and evaluate Pilbara Nursing & Midwifery recruitment programs
* Provide a Pilbara consultancy service
* Monitor and report on Pilbara nursing and midwifery workload indicators
* Undertake strategic Nursing and Midwifery Projects
What we are looking for:
* Highly experienced in project management - to deliver outcomes on Nursing & Midwifery programs and projects
* Experienced in leadership of recruitment programs, autonomous in their workload, especially in development and implementation of new workforce models to support Nursing and Midwifery recruitment, retention and development
* Demonstrated record of achievement in the development, implementation, management and evaluation of Nursing & Midwifery nursing workforce development at a Senior Nursing management Level
* Experienced in educating and training Nurses and Midwives
