The Office for Seniors and Veterans is seeking an experienced officer for a 12-month temporary role of Assistant Director (SOGC). This role is responsible for the development and implementation of policies and management of programs and events and providing high quality advice and analysis on complex strategic policy and human services issues and projects. The Assistant Director maintains strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including management of secretariat and logistical support for relevant councils and committees. This position involves the direct supervision of staff.
