WorkPac Health and Social Care is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join our team in New South Wales. The role involves supporting the medical management and healthcare of inmates, including patient assessments and health plan management. You will work within Australia's largest correctional site, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Personal safety is always prioritized with full support.
About Our Client
Our client manages a large maximum-security prison in the region, housing male inmates with varying security classifications. The facility is recognized for its modern infrastructure and focus on rehabilitative programs.
What You Will Be Doing
Promoting the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates
Implementing and managing patient care plans
Ensuring the safety and security of inmates and the community
Providing comprehensive and accurate health assessments for patients
What You Will Need
Current AHPRA Registration
Minimum of 2+ years full-time post-graduate experience (or part-time equivalent)
Experience in primary health, rural health, or emergency nursing (desirable)
ALS Certification (valid for 12 months)
National Criminal History Check (issued within last 3 months)
Proof of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations
Own vehicle required
