The Opportunity

The Manager, Talent Development plays a key role in enabling the growth of Monash staff globally. The role leads the delivery of enterprise‑wide programs that build capability and strengthen a culture of growth.

Step into a hands-on leadership role where you'll turn capability needs into practical learning experiences and lead the delivery that brings the experiences to life.

What your day might look like

* Delivering of enterprise development programs across leadership, management, compliance and core capabilities.
* Designing and advising on practical, blended and digital learning solutions that lift performance.
* Leading day‑to‑day program operation management, including planning, scheduling, facilitator coordination, logistics and reporting of enterprise programs.
* Overseeing and continuously improving the staff LMS and digital learning tools to improve the staff learning experience.
* Leading the delivery of mandatory compliance and eLearning programs across all campuses.
* Ensuring strong governance across risk, quality, evaluation and budgeting.
* Leading, coaching and supporting the team to continue to deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
* Building productive relationships across the University to support capability uplift and operational priorities.

What you will bring to the team

* Strong hands‑on experience delivering contemporary L&D in large, complex organisations.
* Ability to turn capability needs into practical, scalable learning solutions.
* Confident people leader with experience developing high‑performing teams.
* Skilled in managing vendors, budgets and multiple concurrent projects.
* Experience improving LMS and digital learning platforms.
* Excellent planning, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* A track record of delivering high‑quality, data‑informed outcomes.
