About Our Role
Water resource engineering, wastewater, flood modelling, Hydrology and Hydrogeology have been key specialist areas for WGA for nearly 20 years. Our involvement in important water security projects for remote communities, flood and groundwater modelling and Water Sensitive Urban Design are industry renowned and complement our broad design expertise.
Due to strong growth in the sector and a variety of National projects, we are looking for an experienced Water Resources Engineer or Flood modeller to join our Victorian team.
About You
* Multiple years of post-graduate experience ideally within a Consulting environment
* CPEng or Registered engineer or eligibility to obtain Chartership/Registration
* Proficient in Hydrologic and Hydraulic modelling
* Hands-on experience with RORB, TUFLOW and QGIS. Experience with HEC-RAS, MUSIC, Drains and 12D is not essential but will be a bonus.
* Experience in using AR&R 2019 guidelines
* The ability to communicate well with internal team, authorities, and clients
* Excellent report writing skills
* A sound understanding of the regulatory requirements for flood modelling
* The ability to manage the workload of multiple projects
* Ability to prepare proposals, fee estimate and scope for flood modelling projects
