Administrator Procurement (Traineeship Opportunity)
We are currently seeking a competent administrator or candidates considering a traineeship in administration, with excellent attention to detail to support our procurement team across a range of activities.
There is an opportunity to upskill with a Certificate III in Business for the right candidate.
Salary on offer will be relevant to skills and experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- ensuring all procurement activities adhere to company approvals, reporting and authorisation controls
- participating in procurement and sourcing projects, monitoring milestones and communicating with relevant stakeholders
- building expertise in Wagners employees who engage in procurement activities
- developing productive relationships with key suppliers, contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality outcomes
- assisting in identifying, managing, and mitigating procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and maximise business opportunities
- raising and processing purchase requisitions and completing goods receipting tasks
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role you will need:
- relevant administrative experience using Microsoft Office and systems
- strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to nurture productive working relationships
- excellent time management skills in planning and prioritising tasks
- willingness to contribute to a productive team, and demonstrate a positive and helpful attitude in the workplace
- a ‘can do’ attitude, bags of initiative and enthusiasm to jump into new tasks
- experience in procurement or accounts payable (advantageous but not essential)
