The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our Ammonia/Ammonium Nitrate team in Kwinana. This hands‐on role is crucial to the day‐to‐day operation of the plant, involving equipment operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a safety‐focused environment. You'll be supported with training and development opportunities and will play an integral role in meeting production targets and ensuring safe plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor plant processes to meet production targets.
* Conduct plant startups, shutdowns, and troubleshooting.
* Perform first‐line maintenance and raise work orders.
* Collect and process samples; report deviations in plant performance.
* Respond to emergency situations in line with safety protocols.
* Maintain accurate records and daily log entries.
* Participate in safety meetings, HAZOPs, and training programmes.
About You
* Experience with DCS systems and plant operations.
* Strong problem‐solving and planning skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* The ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
* A Certificate III / IV in Process Technologies (desirable but not essential).
* Flexible with shift work and eager to learn new skills and processes.
