Your role

Responsibilities

* Gaining hands-on experience in mineral extraction within the Operations team at Railton, Tasmania.
* Assessing mine site feasibility through geological surveys and data analysis.
* Supporting mine design and planning with a focus on safety and environmental responsibility.
* Identifying and managing operational risks on site.
* Contributing to improvement projects that enhance performance and reliability.
* Participating in capital works and shutdown projects, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and supervise small teams.
* Applying core engineering principles to ensure safe, productive, and forward-thinking operations.
* Collaborating with a team on meaningful projects that shape mining practices.


About you

Qualifications

* Completed or be near completion of a Bachelor of Mining Engineering or a related field.
* A willingness to work in team environments and collaborate with diverse colleagues.
* Strong problem-solving skills, data analysis abilities, and adaptability.
* Resilience and a positive attitude toward new challenges.
* Openness to relocating for site rotations, including Railton, TAS and Gladstone, QLD.
