The role
Working from an air-conditioned office within the warehouse facility, you'll support day-to-day operations across customer service, logistics and warehouse coordination functions. You'll work closely with warehouse supervisors, inventory teams, branch staff and operations leaders to help manage orders, delivery issues and operational processes across the distribution network. This is a hands‐on operational support role with a strong customer service focus and plenty of variety throughout the day.
Responsibilities include
* Acting as a key point of contact for branch and customer enquiries.
* Providing delivery updates, tracking orders, managing urgent requests, and resolving stock discrepancies quickly and accurately.
* Coordinating returns, credits and reverse logistics processes.
* Supporting the release and management of customer orders.
* Communicating with warehouse teams regarding priorities and order changes.
* Updating databases and internal operational systems accurately.
* Supporting safety procedures, audits and compliance processes.
* Coordinating consumables, warehouse supplies and service providers.
* Assisting with operational projects and site preparation activities.
