About the Role
Occupational Therapist – Rehabilitation • Far North, SA, AU
As a full‐time occupational therapist at the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network – Whyalla, you will design, deliver, and evaluate services that meet the unique needs of the local community. Working independently, you will mentor less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and community services to deliver preventative care, early intervention, therapy, and ongoing evaluation to help individuals live fuller, more independent lives.
Qualifications
* Must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health Profession and be eligible for practising membership of the relevant Professional Association.
* For professions requiring Registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self‐regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional association accredited continuing professional development program.
* You must be able to apply professional expertise and clinical skills to provide services for complex client needs.
* You must be able to use professional judgment to adapt established methods and techniques.
* You must be able to provide clinical and consultative services across various settings, including one‐on‐one, group, and health promotion.
* You must be able to manage your own workload and assist others in workload management and resource allocation.
