Coffee Production and Warehouse Operator

We’re seeking a passionate and driven coffee lover to join our Production and Warehouse team in Fyshwick Canberra.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the operational aspects of the coffee roastery and distribution warehouse, ensuring products are processed, packed, and despatched efficiently and to specification. Safety, quality and teamwork are paramount in this role.
This role is Permanent - Monday to Friday on a 38 hr week with early starts from 7am.
What You’ll Do
* Assist with coffee roasting preparation, operate packaging machinery and undertake basic Q/C checks.
* Maintain inventory records, complete stock counts, and support accurate reporting for management.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch orders for wholesale and café clients, ensuring timely delivery.
* Load/unload inventory and deliveries, checking goods against invoices and reporting discrepancies.
* Operate warehouse equipment safely (trolleys, pallet jacks, grinders) and keep work areas clean, organised and free of hazards.
* Participate in product cycle counts, waste reduction initiatives, and contribute to process improvement discussions.
* Communicate operational updates and safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
* Support incident management and follow up on corrective actions.
* Contribute to a safe, respectful, and supportive warehouse culture.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in warehouse, logistics, or similar production environments; coffee industry highly regarded.
* Sound physical fitness (manual handling, lifting, safe movement).
* Strong attention to detail, high reliability.
* Team mindset, adaptable to new tasks, and able to follow instructions closely.
* Computer savviness
* Valid driver’s license
* Forklift license a bonus!
