Position SummaryReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Electrician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment across our manufacturing Workshop located in Salisbury through preventative maintenance, breakdown response and project works.Key ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance procedures on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.Breakdown Response: Respond promptly to equipment failures or electrical issues, diagnose the issue, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.Repair and Replacement: Perform repairs on electrical systems and components, including wiring, switches, motors, and control panels.
Replace faulty parts as needed to maintain equipment reliability and safety.Installation and Upgrades: Assist with the installation of new electrical systems, machinery, or equipment.
Participate in upgrade projects to improve efficiency, productivity, or safety within the facility.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manufacturer guidelines while carrying out maintenance tasks.
