Food Services Rations - Overseer 5D
Location: Lithgow Correctional Centre
Employment type: Ongoing, Full Time
Salary: $94,456.00 pa + Incidental Allowance + Leave Loading + Superannuation
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Trade Overseer to work at our Food Services Unit at the Lithgow Correctional Centre.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and develop inmates by managing, coaching, instructing, and encouraging them as members of a team to improve work skills and post-release employment prospects, contributing to Service/Business Unit objectives.
* Oversee team activities to ensure productivity, efficiency, and achievement of commercial objectives while meeting Workplace Health & Safety, Quality Management requirements, and customer service needs.
* Participate in paid training to undertake Certificate III in Correctional Practice at an allocated Corrective Services Academy facility.
Qualifications
* Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or the capacity to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice within specified CSNSW timeframes.
* Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role.
* Relevant trade qualifications/tertiary qualifications: Minimum Cert III in Logistics, Food related trades or willingness to obtain.
Essential Requirements
* Proven post-trade experience
* Experience demonstrating ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description
* Ability and willingness to work across varying trades as required
* Ability to work in a high-volume/output work location
