Job description:Strategy Analyst$133,944 per annum + 11.5% superannuationFull time, fixed term opportunity until 26th June 2026Wadawurrung / Geelong based role (hybrid - work from home – 3 days a week in office)About the opportunityAs part of the Strategy team, the Strategy Analyst prepares strategic advice and recommendations to enable and support the development and delivery of the WorkSafe Strategy.In this fixed term opportunity, you will work closely with the Strategy and Research Director and team members to assist in the provision of authoritative advice to WorkSafe executives. The position supports the development of future strategy and the evaluation of current strategy, ensuring WorkSafe remains focussed on its purpose of reducing workplace harm and improving outcomes for injured workers.Reporting to the Strategy and Research Director, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver high impact, evidence-based insights and recommendations that directly inform executive decision making and guide the long-term vision of the organisation.Key accountabilities of the role include:Undertake and interpret research and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to assist with the development of value-added advice to enable evidence-based decision-making by WorkSafe executives and the WorkSafe Board. Draft decision papers and supporting materials to be considered by WorkSafe governance forumsProvide strategic advice and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to enable and support the development and delivery of WorkSafe’s StrategyUndertake detailed analysis of complex problems and present information in an easily digestible format, tailored to the audienceContribute to project planning and prioritisation of initiatives to enable the realisation of the WorkSafe StrategyDevelop project management documentation including project briefs, plans, and progress updatesPlease ensure you review the Position Description herefor additional information on accountabilities for this role.About youYou’re an analytical thinker with a passion for strategy and making a real-world impact.
