Sunnybank Private Hospital is currently seeking a professional and customer-focused Supply Officer to join their busy team.
Reporting directly to the Supply Team Leader, this position is responsible for assisting with hospital supply management, focusing on operating theatres with involvement in wards and other areas within the hospital.
The role includes handling supply & imprest queries as well as general duties in our logistics area. It is hands-on and requires a high level of physical work.

With 112 inpatient surgical and medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit, and an ICU, Sunnybank Private Hospital has been providing care to our community for over 40 years, continually embracing high-quality holistic patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer/patient service by replenishing hospital imprest areas.
2. Act as a valued team member by promoting a positive team culture, communicating effectively, and liaising with staff to create a supportive environment.
3. Work according to Healthscope's policies, processes, and code of conduct to demonstrate professional practice.
4. Maintain customer service standards while ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.
5. Support safety, quality improvement, and accreditation efforts by participating in meetings, audits, and quality activities.
6. Ensure compliance with the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards.
7. Experience with a computerized purchasing system (e.g., Technology One).
8. Good literacy and numeracy skills.
9. Proven time management and problem-solving abilities.
10. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
11. Previous experience in a similar role (preferred).
12. Medical product knowledge (preferred).
