Therapy Lab is looking for an Allied Health Assistant (Speech Pathology) to join our team.
You will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Speech Pathologist in the delivery of client-focused interventions and programmes.
Role and Responsibility
- Working with clients under the direction of the Speech Pathologist to assist with providing intervention both individually and in group programmes
- Setting up and preparing for individual and group therapy sessions
- Participating in individual and group Speech Pathology sessions.
- Maintaining, monitoring and ordering Speech Pathology equipment
- Opportunity to assist with group programmes conducted by other Allied Health Disciplines
- Undertaking clinic and administrative tasks
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Currently studying in an undergraduate/ post-graduate Speech Pathology university course (with intention to progress to becoming a Speech Pathologist)
- Demonstrate administration / clerical skills
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with families, other health professionals, and the community
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication
Desirable
- Current Victorian Driver's license with own vehicle

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 3 - 25 per week
**Salary**: $23.00 - $31.47 per hour
