Southern Cross Care QLD have an opportunity for a Bus Driver to join our SCCQ family at our Caloundra Rise Retirement Village in Little Mountain. This role is permanent part time, with a guaranteed minimum 32 hours per fortnight.

**About the role**

The Bus Driver operates an essential and much loved service for our residents, ensuring our residents are provided with regular and safe transport for shopping trips and outings to various locations. A friendly sociable personality coupled with empathy and compassion for the elderly will make you a perfect fit for this role.

As a Bus Driver you will:

- Conduct physical inspections as per bus trip checklist before and after every trip
- Provide safe transportation for scheduled outings to residents in a friendly and empathetic manner
- Ensure that residents are picked up and dropped off on time
- Collaborate with team members in trip preparation and planning

**What you will bring to the role?**
- Current LR drivers licence
- Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Exceptional people and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
