Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Industry Return to Work Specialist. This role involves delivering high-quality engagement to all stakeholders involved in the return-to-work process and proactively leading the recovery and return to work.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping individuals get their lives back on track through ongoing support. The successful candidate will have a strong background in injury management, claims management services, and education.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver injury management, return to work, and claims management services that drive early and safe return to work
* Conduct thorough assessments of workers and employers' situations to identify and resolve biopsychosocial barriers
* Educate and inform stakeholders on the return to work process, legislative requirements, and health benefits of safe work
* Coordinate worksite meetings with workers and employers and provide on-the-spot advice and education
* Proactively engage and partner with treating teams to drive workers' capacity for work
* Deliver timely decisions and approvals within legislative requirements and delegations
* Liaise with Regulator Return to Work SA to support return-to-work initiatives
* Educate staff on Return to Work outcomes through education
About You
* You will be a Registered Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Health Nurse with current registration
* Prior experience in a clinical role or within an injury management field, educating workers and employers on the health benefits of safe work
* Sound knowledge of the work injury insurance Scheme in South Australia
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to build trust and influence stakeholders
* Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to make decisions
* Ability to adapt and contribute to an evolving program of work
* Current driver's licence
