About the Role
As a Service Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our equipment and our clients' assets. Your work will include:
Core Responsibilities
* Inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing cranes, hoists, vacuum lifters, slings, and other lifting equipment
* Preventative maintenance and servicing of a wide range of plant and machinery, including:
* CNC sheet metal fabrication equipment (brake press, guillotine, punch and shear machines)
* LPG and diesel forklifts
* Mobile crane trucks
* Combination vacuum trucks
* Small plant such as pumps, compressors, plate compactors, and civil construction tools
* Working primarily from our Pooraka depot, with occasional travel to our Sydney and Brisbane depots
* Completing digital task management and reporting using company software

What You'll Bring

Essential Attributes
* A strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed
* High level of initiative and self-direction
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Confidence using digital tools for reporting and task management
* Relevant trade qualification or experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, or similar
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to follow OEM service schedules and complete repairs efficiently
* Current and valid driver's licence
Desirable
* HR licence
* Trade certificate in small plant mechanical (e.g., STIHL)
* Experience in a plant workshop environment
