About the Role
A leading public sector organisation is seeking a Senior Technical Lead (.NET) to drive the design, development, and delivery of major digital initiatives shaping the future of city-wide services. This hands‑on leadership role suits someone who can architect, build, and deliver complex solutions across the modern Microsoft ecosystem while collaborating with a high‑performing, nationally distributed delivery team (through Dynamo) alongside other Technical Leads, Solution Architects, and Delivery Managers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture and design across .NET and Azure ecosystems.
- Drive hands‑on technical delivery and coding across enterprise builds.
- Manage and maintain enterprise applications to ensure stability and scalability.
- Oversee integrations across multiple platforms (Azure Functions, APIs, AEM, SharePoint, BizTalk).
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Present architecture solutions to internal review boards.
- Mentor developers and enforce modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate with business and delivery teams to align outcomes with strategic goals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in .NET development and solution delivery.
- Robust background designing and delivering enterprise‑grade solutions (on‑prem & hybrid cloud).
- Proven ability to lead technical teams from architecture through to delivery.
- Solid experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD automation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Hands‑on approach and a passion for technology excellence.
- Familiarity with architecture or security review processes.
