Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.
An opening exists for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.
Permanent full-time position
Work schedule: 08:00am to 04:00pm

What are the role responsibilities?
* Check and match invoices with purchase order and delivery docket
* Scan meat delivery dockets into a shared folder
* Processing invoices into the system (Sage, Esker, Protrace)
* Ensure all invoices are checked & approved by appropriate people
* Ensure vendors' payments are to date
* Prepare Automatic and manual payments
* Updating/Maintaining vendor's account in the system
* Assist with month end – e.g. Accruals, ensure all missing invoices have been accounted for as per Statement, etc.
* Resolve invoices issues
* Respond to Vendors inquiries
* Identifying and posting invoices in the correct GL account
* Accounts Payable Reconciliation
* Check entries in vendor's account weekly
* Posting & allocation of payments
* Maintaining Company's motor vehicles spreadsheet – updating Fuel cards, E-Tag, etc. if required
Who we are looking for?
* Accounts Payable/Book keeping experience
* Basic knowledge in spreadsheet
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to meet deadlines
