Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to join our client based in Adelaide. This is a full‐time contract role commencing ASAP and running until December 2026. You will play a key role across the full lifecycle of Defence systems, contributing to capability development, testing, sustainment, policy, and logistics engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update ILS Plans
* Review CDRLs, ILS documents and prime contractor deliverables
* Develop Transition Plans and support Capability Life Cycle (CLC) activities
* Conduct support system analysis including sparing, maintenance and supportability assessments
* Undertake facilities and volumetric assessments
* Prepare briefs, reports and logistics correspondence
* Assist with business cases, procurement, costing and contract support
* Provide training and guidance on MILIS, ERP and supply chain processes
* Coordinate warehousing, distribution and transportation (including DIDS)
* Ensure compliance with LMSM and Defence Technical Regulations
* Manage asset codification, cataloguing, CMDB updates and ICT disposal processes
* Coordinate secure movement of deployed ICT equipment and classified materials
* Maintain accurate asset records and support configuration management
About You Essential Requirements
* 3–5 years' experience in Integrated Logistics Support or logistics engineering
* Strong working knowledge of Defence supply systems including MILIS and ERP
* Experience producing ILS documentation (plans, concepts, instructions)
* Understanding of ASDEFCON frameworks
* Experience conducting supportability analysis (LORA, spares, maintenance evaluation)
* Strong understanding of risk management and basic life cycle costing
* Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* NV1 AGSVA security clearance(must be able to upgrade to NV2)
* Understanding of Electronic Warfare
* Familiarity with export controls
