The Westmead Centre for Oral Health at Westmead Hospital is one of Australia's busiest public dental services, part of WSLHD's Oral Health Services network spanning Westmead, Blacktown and Mount Druitt. What you'll be doing
This is a great opportunity to develop a broad clinical skill set while making a genuine community health impact. You will:
• Provide comprehensive oral health care including examination, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventive care.
• Manage a diverse patient caseload spanning all ages — from children to medically complex elderly patients.
• Champion oral health promotion activities and population health programs.
• Refer patients for specialist consultation and coordinate their ongoing care within the team.
• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audit and research activities.

Essential Criteria:
· Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an Oral Health Therapist or both the registrations of Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated oral health therapy clinical experience.
2. Demonstrated sound clinical and diagnostic skills.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including the general public.
4. A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative / population health approach to patient care.
5. A demonstrated ability to work within a large team and independently.
6. A demonstrated commitment to continuing education
